      Hello! In class, Alexis mentioned that there was a preferred order to read the readings since one mentioned the others. But I failed to write down the suggestion! Can someone kindly tell me? Thanks!

      Hey! Alexis said Halberstam might be helpful to read first since he mentions, and kind of explains, Spivak and Mahmood. After that, I’m not sure what to read next, but def. Halberstam first!

      Thanks Taylor for filling this in! I would say that Mohanty, Halberstam, Spivak, Mahmood would be a good order if you’re coming to postcolonial feminist ideas for the first time; the chronological order of Mohanty, Spivak, Mahmood, Halberstam might be preferable for those of you who have more familiarity.
